Responsibilities
Develop test plans, QA, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and test cases for software development and product management teams
Design and execute user interface (UI) and regression testing for applications
Test software applications for reliability, stability, and usability, including negative testing
Lead projects to perform quality assessments to expose security flaws, defects, and optimization opportunities
Design and run automated testing scripts, supporting deployment of tests
Create QA documentation, reports, and maintain test databases for defects, user reviews, and functional improvements
Coordinate with product development teams and engineers to recommend solutions that maximize performance and efficiency
Conduct reviews, walkthroughs, and inspections, adhering to established governance standards
Translate business requirements and policy documentation into test cases and scenarios
Communicate and publish status reports for all open issues and gaps identified during testing, and articulate details to development teams
Qualification
Required
3+ years translating business requirements or policy documentation into test cases and scenarios
3+ years building test cases and scenarios into test systems
2+ years testing IBM Curam software
Ability to document and support the development of test scenarios/cases and execute testing activities
Strong communication skills, capable of publishing QA status reports and articulating issues to development teams
Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or related field
Equivalent years of experience can substitute for formal education
Preferred
5+ years experience in large enterprise or e-business systems
Deep knowledge of healthcare operations (preferably Medicaid) and business processes
Proficiency with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence)
Prior experience working in standard SDLC (Waterfall) and Agile delivery environments
None required, but technical and/or project management certifications from recognized sources are desirable
