Responsibilities

Lead the configuration and delivery of complex data integrations with client EHR while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other data security standards

Implement APIs, event-driven integrations, and batch processes to support business and customer needs

Serve as the subject matter expert on data integration for internal stakeholders and client projects

Manage and optimize ETL/ELT processes, ensuring high data quality, consistency, and availability

Develop and maintain integration documentation, best practices, and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk

Troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration issues quickly while maintaining proactive communication with stakeholders

Collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape data integration strategy, ensuring delivery capabilities evolve with product innovation and client demands

Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering their growth and strengthening team capabilities

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)

5+ years of experience in data integration, ETL development, or data engineering, preferably in a healthcare or health IT environment

Hands-on experience with HL7, FHIR, APIs, and other healthcare interoperability standards

Strong knowledge of SQL, data mapping, and ETL tools/processes

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client-facing projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and timely delivery

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly terms

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience working directly with clients and cross-functional teams

Commitment to handling PHI/PII data securely and in compliance with HIPAA

Preferred

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related data integration tools

Familiarity with CRM and marketing platforms

Prior experience in a healthcare technology, SaaS, or data-as-a-service environment
