Responsibilities

Work on a highly cross-functional team focused on privacy for our Ads Platform
Collaborate closely with our legal and business partners to conduct comprehensive privacy reviews, identify risks, and provide guidance on risk-mitigating solutions
Align with our existing Privacy and Data Protection programs for data management, integrate privacy by design into the platform architecture, and work with product teams to mitigate privacy risks
Collaborate with the Ads team to build privacy-aware infrastructure

Qualification

Privacy EngineeringData ProtectionOnline AdvertisingPrivacy RegulationsCommunication Skills

Required

8+ years of experience working in privacy or privacy-related fields (security engineering, compliance), solving complex privacy problems with technical, business, regulatory, or organizational constraints (e.g., Privacy Engineer, Technical Program Manager)
Experience working with online Ads or Advertising platforms
Strong subject matter expertise in supporting products or businesses on privacy and data protection topics such as consent, data collection, usage, minimization, and deletion
Familiarity with Privacy-Enhancing Technologies and knowledge of why and when to apply them
Comfortable operating and making decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
Excellent written and spoken communication skills and ability to effectively cross boundaries between technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience with regional privacy regulations, e.g., GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), and CPRA (California Privacy Rights Act)
