Knowledge Road is seeking a committed Special Education Teacher (SETSS) to support students in NYC Department of Education schools. The role involves providing individualized and small-group instruction to students with disabilities, ensuring they receive the personalized support they need to achieve their educational goals.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, individualized, and small-group instruction to students with disabilities, in alignment with their Individualized Education Service Programs (IESP)

Ensure completion of each student's weekly IESP mandates and maintain an intervention schedule coordinated with the school timetable

Prepare and submit quarterly progress reports and maintain bi-weekly family communication with clear updates on progress and next steps

Document service delivery and student performance in Knowledge Road's system with accurate and timely documentation

Design and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that address the specific academic, social, and emotional needs of each student

Partner with parents, teachers, and other school staff to build a supportive and inclusive learning environment for your students

Track and monitor student progress, providing consistent updates to families and school-based teams

Take part in IESP meetings as needed, contributing valuable insights and recommendations to advance student success
