Responsibilities

Develop and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures

Track and manage configuration items (CIs) throughout their lifecycle, including identification, control, status accounting, and auditing

Maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensure its accuracy and completeness

Conduct regular audits of configuration items to ensure compliance with configuration management policies

Provide training and support to staff on configuration management processes and tools

Generate and distribute configuration management reports to stakeholders

Assist in the development and implementation of configuration management tools and systems

Actively participate in the change management processes to ensure that changes are properly evaluated and implemented

Collaborate with project teams to ensure that configuration management requirements are integrated into project plans
