They are seeking an Entry-Level Civil Survey Designer/Drafter responsible for creating and revising engineering drawings, processing field data, and coordinating with technical personnel on various projects.

Responsibilities

Responsible for creating and revising drawings depicting existing conditions for various engineering projects in CAD platforms

Processing field data

Preparation of topographic survey projects

Preparation of survey plats

Working with multiple types of data including GIS and laser scan data

Coordinating with technical personnel to gather and record data for design projects

Communication and coordination with multi-disciplinary groups

Document organization and record keeping

Required

Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CAD) or civil, mechanical, or survey engineering technology

Equivalent experience without AAS degree - high school graduate and 3+ years of experience in computer aided drafting and/or in civil/survey drafting work

Firm understanding of design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation

High level of attention to detail

Ability to work independently and within a team environment, working with individuals from various offices and in various disciplines

Must possess excellent communication skills, verbal and written, and the ability to multi-task between several projects and priorities at one time

Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Valid Driver's License is required
