VP of Pharmacy Operations
Texas Nursing Services is seeking an accomplished Vice President of Pharmacy Operations to lead and optimize pharmacy services across a multi-state acute care division. This role provides executive oversight for six hospitals in Nevada and California, directing pharmacy strategy, compliance, cost management, and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities
Lead pharmacy services for six acute care hospitals, ensuring operational effectiveness, compliance, and financial stewardship
Oversee Division Pharmacy Directors and regional teams, building a culture of collaboration and clinical excellence
Analyze purchasing patterns and implement innovative cost containment strategies
Partner with division and facility executives to advance pharmacy practice and improve patient outcomes
Ensure regulatory readiness and adherence to all federal and state pharmacy requirements
Develop and execute business process models to enhance division-wide efficiency
Mentor and strengthen leadership teams, building one of the strongest pharmacy teams in the organization
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Pharmacy
Licensed Pharmacist (or ability to obtain Nevada license within 6 months)
5+ years of progressive pharmacy leadership in an acute care, multi-site environment (retail-only backgrounds not considered)
Proven executive presence and ability to collaborate with C-suite leaders
Preferred
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), MBA, or MS degree
Prior experience as a Chief Pharmacy Officer, Division/Market Director, or Vice President
