Clinical Instructor, Internal Medicine-General Medicine
UTMB Health is a healthcare institution seeking a Clinical Instructor in Internal Medicine-General Medicine. The Chief Resident will represent medical residents, optimize care and training, participate in committees, organize reports, and serve as an attending physician in inpatient wards and a preceptor in the clinic.

The Chief Resident will represent the medical residents and work closely with them to optimize medical care and their training
In addition, the Chief Resident will participate in departmental and hospital committees, organize morning report daily, help to create and implement Department of Internal Medicine policies, implement the monthly ward schedules, and serve as the first line of reference/appeal for all resident concerns or disputes
The Chief Resident will serve as inpatient ward attending for two to four, two-week blocks and precept in the general medicine clinic one half day each week

Required
MD degree
Board certification or Board eligibility in Internal Medicine
