Responsibilities

Schedule production for specified products and production Lines understanding all the physical and manning constraints of these Lines
Ensure that Build Plan:
Is feasible and balanced against resource finite/demonstrated capacity
Includes all phase-in/out, localization and transfer plans as well as new programs development/prototyping
Is based on SIOP agreed working calendar and includes all planned downtime (Holiday, routine maintenance, Line closures, etc.)
Is in line with Supplier/Subcontractor available supply capacity
Can be supported with available WIP and FG packaging
Provide input for Material Requirement Planning / Vendor Scheduling process
Proactively communicate/escalate to the management team potential MPS issues/constraints to trigger preventive actions in order to mitigate supply failure risk
Monitor manufacturing output/performance daily against the plan, challenging and understanding whenever performance differs from the plan
Monitor Stock cover daily in order to avoid Stock outs as well as overstocks by adjusting the plan if possible or raising the issue with Planning Leader Manage inventory levels of materials used for production by reviewing WIP levels and communicating with Purchasing team lead times of said production materials
Regularly analyze Inventory target level vs Customer demand in order to optimize/challenge current status and search for improvement opportunities
Provide communication/feedback to program/business line teams in case of any potential supply issues and also in order to improve Forecast accuracy
Liaise with PM team to support and coordinate all production planning related new programs launch/prototyping activities
Monitor WIP Inventory in light of any potential write off to support planning/commercial decision to be made to minimize impact
Ensure processes relevant KPI’s are monitored and PDCA approach applied with A3 in case of deviation to ensure targets are delivered in a sustainable way (e.g.: Schedule Adherence, Customer DSA, Inventory Turns)
Manage or take active part in SC and Plant performance related continuous improvement projects/activities
Using production change-over matrix sequence weekly MPS into a day/shift detailed shop floor execution plan covering period between 1 to 2 weeks
Maximize shared manufacturing resource output/utilization while ensuring full coherence with MPS product mix, volumes and required availability dates
Ensure that sequenced plan:
Is feasible and balanced against resource finite/demonstrated capacity
Includes all planned downtime (Holiday, routine maintenance, Line closures, etc.)
Is supportable with available WIP and FG packaging
Plan, develop, and prioritize schedules for production work centers to maximize performance and minimize production delay
Worked with PMO to understand production requirements and facilitated execution of those requirements to the production floor. Incorporated and maintained planning tools to assist with production execution including line-of-balance, work center throughput, and work center by work center priority lists to guarantee focus on delivery of critical components
Work order management including sales order analysis, work order release to production, and coordination of requirements throughout various production work centers
