The role involves assisting professors and students with equipment management, classroom support, and ensuring smooth operation during production activities and classes.

Responsibilities
A TA is needed for picking up and returning gear, providing classroom assistance during workshops, scheduling visiting alumni, guests and jurors, and providing peer feedback during project pitches and creative critiques
Pickup equipment from PPECs for class sessions
Return equipment after confirming all equipment was accounted for during a class lab session
Assist with the Volume stage productions
Assist with monitoring that safety protocols are followed during advanced productions
Assist with Attendance taking
Assist with note taking for SAS accommodations
Take Photos to be used in Program marketing and social media
Assist with the programming of end of the semester public screenings
Help facilitate hands-on learning by supporting students during equipment use and practice
Duties include setting up and organizing audio recorders, microphones, and related accessories; assisting students with proper operation and troubleshooting; monitoring equipment safety and care; and providing additional guidance during in-class exercises
Assist during live event productions
Pickup equipment reservations from PPECS and return equipment
Assist with the Live Event equipment checkout system for reservations
Offer Tutoring for students that have a need for further support
Assist with equipment demonstrations during class labs
Check-out/check-in equipment and assist students with the use of equipment
Assist professor in executing multi-camera productions in the Television Studio
Help to set up equipment, supervise and help students during class demos and make posters
Qualification
Required
Advanced Production Skills and must have taken at least one intermediate or advanced film production class
Student must have taken the course before
Student must have taken the course before and received at least a B
Student must have taken the course before and received at least a B. Preference given to B+ or above
Preference given to student who have taken some TV or film production classes
