Responsibilities
Operate machines in a safe, competent, efficient, and productive manner
Maintain quality standards for the product
Keep the machine and surrounding area clean
Follow instructions from the team lead
Become proficient in operating the Mainline and the Slitter machines
Complete all required training and assessments within 12 months
To train or assist in any training for new/ transferred employees
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
Proven ability for applied learning
Good communication skills
Walk/stand 100% of time during a 12-hour shift
Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and squatting throughout shift
Occasional climbing and reaching into machines to fix jams
Frequent lifting and overhead reaching during shift
Frequent pushing and pulling with arms and legs throughout shift, including materials requiring up to 75lbs of force to maneuver
Frequent lifting or carrying up to 50lbs
Constant use of hands and occasional use of foot control
Constant light and firm grasping with hands throughout shift
Operation of cranes, hoists, hand trucks, and roll manipulators throughout shift
Daily sweeping and organizing floor and work area
Occasional climbing of steps
Balance required for some tasks
Preferred
Previous manufacturing/distribution center/industrial experience preferred
Prior computer experience preferred

Shift differential pay of $2.00/hour for hours worked between 9:00pm-9:00am
