Responsibilities

Supports and assists activities within multiple warehouse and inventory control disciplines across the Supply Chain and Production processes
Primarily responsible for manual and automated inventory control actions
Performs and monitors administrative (and procedural application) of inventory control
Assist with tagging and inventory control for company owned Capital property and Customer/Government property
Computes and accumulates data for use in analysis. Analyzes reports and records activities, reports inefficiencies to supervisors and recommends corrective actions to improve operations
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
Count, weigh, and record materials moved or handled in an ERP system
Support / complete monthly, quarterly, yearly inventory audits
Inspects and identifies property. Inspects conditions of property received
Performs shelf-life inspections of stock
Prepares statements of facts surrounding property loss, damage, or destruction through causes other than fair wear and tear
Able to spend considerable time standing, bending, and walking to and from the warehouse and other areas / buildings
Holds the ability to handle items (45 lbs.) utilizing proper lifting techniques and material handling aids (e.g., pallet jacks, height adjustable carts, etc.), use rolling ladder going up to 12 feet, and reach for items on shelves, and may operate a forklift upon receipt of internal certification
Ability to prioritize and multi task daily workload
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Required

US citizenship due to contract requirements and nature of work
Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance, due to the nature of work and contract requirements
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse environment supporting the inventory process
Valid Driver's License required

Preferred

Forklift /reach truck experience
5 years' experience working in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process for a defense contractor
Active SECRET security clearance
Experience using Costpoint
Class A CDL
Ability to prioritize and multi task daily workload
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
