Colortech Inc. is a leading company in the manufacturing sector, seeking a Senior Technical Service Representative to provide strategic field support as a product and industry expert. This role involves driving product advancements, collaborating with the Product Development team, and enhancing industry leadership through technical interactions and representation at events.

Responsibilities

Provides technical support to customers and sales team by responding to inquiries on product information and capabilities

Responsible for solving technical problems by devising solutions to implement at customer locations based on previous customer feedback or requests

Responds to customer complaints, isolates problems and reports results to Product Development team

Maintains Colortech’s industry presence by representing Colortech at industry conferences & trade shows. Conducts/develops customer presentations, web seminars, publications, articles, etc

Produces call reports, monthly summaries of active projects, updates as required and distributes

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent problem solving and organizational skills

A bachelor's degree in science, engineering, polymer science, or a related technical field is required

Minimum of 8 years of experience in polymer processing or technical services, including at least 3 years leading major accounts or strategic technical initiatives in a polymer-related industry

Expert knowledge of color concentrates, plastics compounding, and processing technologies required
