Responsibilities
Process and analyze complex SAR imagery from space-based platforms
Design, develop, and implement novel algorithms for SAR data exploitation, including object detection, change detection, feature extraction
Utilize Python and its scientific computing libraries (e.g., NumPy, SciPy, Pandas) for data manipulation, algorithm prototyping, and tool development
Validate algorithm performance against ground truth data and established benchmarks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAR processing capabilities into larger analytical systems and workflows
Qualification
Required
BS in EE, Remote Sensing, Physics, CS, or a related technical field
5+ years in SAR data processing and analysis
Demonstrated proficiency in Python for scientific programming and data analysis
A strong theoretical understanding of SAR fundamentals, including image formation principles, scattering physics, and radar polarimetry
Experience handling common SAR data formats (e.g., GeoTIFF)
The ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
