Children’s Minnesota is one of the largest pediatric health systems in the United States, dedicated to providing care exclusively to children. They are seeking a full-time Outpatient Pediatric Psychologist to provide therapeutic support in a multidisciplinary feeding clinic, as well as outpatient therapy for patients with diverse medical and mental health needs.

Responsibilities

Providing therapeutic supports in embedded specialty partnership with the multidisciplinary feeding clinic, which includes direct patient care, collaboration with larger medical teams, and program development
Providing compassionate, evidence-based outpatient therapy to hospital and clinic referred patients from diverse backgrounds as well as varying medical and mental health needs
Supporting the inpatient consultation-liaison service

Qualification

Licensed psychologistDoctoral degree in PsychologyClinical experience with feeding disordersPatient care excellenceTrainingSupervision interestCommunication skillsMultidisciplinary team collaboration

Required

Licensed or licensed eligible psychologist in Minnesota
Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D.) in Psychology and completion of a clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship from an APA-approved program
Demonstrated excellence in patient care, consultation, and collaboration
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Be able to function effectively and efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary team

Preferred

Minimum of one year of clinical experience working with feeding disorders and/or in a health psychology-related setting
Interest in providing training and supervision in our postdoctoral fellowship
