They are seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer to support their growing Transportation design practice, focusing on traffic design services for various transportation agencies across Florida.

Responsibilities

Serve as Engineer-of-Record , Senior Engineer, and/or Project Manager, depending on project specifics, for various Traffic sub-disciplines (Signing & Marking, Signals, ITS, and/or Lighting)

Perform traffic modeling and alternatives analysis

Collaborate with other Transportation Discipline Leaders and Project Managers

Prepare marketing materials and serve as Traffic Lead for project pursuits

Oversee Traffic design activities, and mentor less-experienced engineers

Perform QC reviews of design analyses and plans prepared by Staff and by other consultants

Build and maintain strong working relationships with transportation clients across Florida

Qualification

Traffic design experienceFlorida PE licenseCivil Engineering degreeCommunication skillsTeam collaboration

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline

10+ years of relevant Traffic design experience, preferably with FDOT

Florida Professional Engineering (PE) license, or the ability to obtain it within 6 months

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong desire to be an important member of a high-performing team
