Responsibilities

Technical guidance and quality oversight, including code review, of all project work involving plumbing engineering

Technical training and development of staff

Establishing and improving standards, practices, guidelines, and specifications for plumbing discipline area

Provide 'on-the-spot' advice and decisions - technical and cost estimates

Coordination with all of the disciplines involved, including outside consultants

Technical interface with code officials and contractors

Required

Accomplished plumbing designer/engineer with 10+ years of progressive technical experience in the design of plumbing systems for healthcare projects

Experience should include design and evaluation of medical gas systems found in a typical hospital, ambulatory surgery centers, freestanding emergency departments, medical office buildings, technical oversight of multiple projects with proven success providing technical oversight on projects that meet contract specifications and technical standards to the client on time and within budget

Self-motivated with highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills

Well organized, takes good notes
