Responsibilities

Account Preparation & Renewal Support: Prepares accounts for new business and renewal processes as directed by the broker. Initiates renewal reviews to optimize client coverage and recommends strategies to support client retention
Market Submissions & Documentation Review: Assists brokers in developing market submissions and quote cover letters for agents. Reviews incoming documents for accuracy and completeness
Broker Relationship Management: Builds strong relationships with brokers and demonstrates a solid understanding of brokerage operations to proactively support evolving business needs
Business Development Collaboration: Partners with brokers to drive renewals and generate new business opportunities through client referrals and strategic outreach
Proposal & Presentation Development: Contributes to the creation of new business strategies, including proposals and presentations tailored to prospective client opportunities
Risk Evaluation & Compliance: Assesses risks associated with accounts and ensures compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
Data Integrity & System Accuracy: Maintains accurate data across internal systems, ensures proper documentation, and performs tasks in alignment with established guidelines and service standards
Reporting & Portfolio Insights: Generates performance reports and key metrics, leveraging data-driven insights to inform brokers of portfolio trends and identify opportunities to enhance the book of business
Internal Collaboration & Issue Resolution: Works closely with internal teams to fulfill contractual obligations. Resolves invoicing discrepancies with Premium Accounting and communicates effectively regarding notices of cancellation

Required

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably in a client-facing or operational support role
Bachelor's degree required. Preferred fields include Business Administration, Sales, Risk Management, or other related disciplines. Equivalent work experience may be considered
Must meet minimum requirements for state Property & Casualty (P&C) and/or surplus lines licenses

Preferred

Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR)
Commercial Insurance License (CIL)
