Responsibilities

Our environment is fast-paced, energetic, collaborative, and innovative
Our patient population spans the range from neonates to seniors, with 16 services and 58 operating rooms with multiple subspecialties
Positions available across many specialties
All shifts available – days, evenings, nights, 8-, 10- and 12-hour shifts
The Cardiac ORs consist of 5 rooms and includes a state-of-the-art hybrid room
This is an exciting and challenging service that includes heart transplants, lung transplants and aortic dissections
Highly specialized surgeries are performed utilizing cutting-edge technologies, minimally invasive techniques
The Thoracic service line focuses on cancers of the lungs, upper respiratory system, and GI tract
Our collaborative team takes excellent care of our patients utilizing laser, robotic, laparoscopic, and endobronchial modalities

Qualification

Surgical Technologist CertificationSurgical Technologist ProgramAcute Care ExperienceBasic Life Support (BLS)Committee ExperienceAssociate’s DegreeLeadership Experience

Required

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program
Current Surgical Technologist Certification is required within one year from the date of graduation from a surgical technologist program or have been employed as a surgical technologist in a surgical facility on or before July 1st, 2013 or have successfully completed a training program for surgical technology in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service
Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a surgical technologist in an acute care setting required

Preferred

Associate's degree
4 years' experience as Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting
Committee and leadership experience
Basic Life Support (BLS)
