Performance Engineer - EDA workloads

Responsibilities

Analyze performance of compute and storage infrastructure in production
Identify areas for tuning based on metrics and system behavior
Support improvements to job configurations and scheduling efficiency
Help develop tooling and dashboards to surface performance trends
Collaborate with platform and flow teams to validate and document findings

Qualification

Required

Experience with EDA tooling and workflow patterns
Experience with EDA workflows or engineering compute pipelines
Experience working in Linux-based environments, particularly in performance-sensitive contexts
General experience working in compute or storage-heavy environments
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Linux-based telemetry
Familiarity with profiling tools

Preferred

Knowledge of how engineering teams use simulation tools or other high-throughput workloads
Ability to troubleshoot issues related to CPU, memory, I/O, or network performance
Exposure to basic job scheduling systems (e.g., LSF, Jenkins, SLURM)
