Responsibilities

Experience performing roadway and/or traffic design, with the ability to develop solutions for a wide range of transportation problems and needs
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, with familiarity with the AASHTO Green Book and other key transportation-related guides and standards
Experience with state DOT guidelines and procedures preferred
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare study and design reports, collaborate with internal project teams, and interact with state agencies, municipal review boards, and clients
Ability to assist in proposal preparation and contribute to business development efforts

Qualification

Civil Engineering degreeProfessional Engineering licenseRoadway design experienceAutoCAD proficiencyMicroStation proficiencyState DOT guidelines experienceProposal preparationBusiness developmentWriting skillsVerbal communication skills

Required

B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited school
Experience performing roadway and/or traffic design, with the ability to develop solutions for a wide range of transportation problems and needs
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, with familiarity with the AASHTO Green Book and other key transportation-related guides and standards
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare study and design reports, collaborate with internal project teams, and interact with state agencies, municipal review boards, and clients
Ability to assist in proposal preparation and contribute to business development efforts

Preferred

Professional Engineering (PE) license in CT, RI, MA, or other New England states preferred. Candidates with PEs in other states will also be considered
Experience with state DOT guidelines and procedures preferred
