Cleared DC BIM Specialist, Fleet Remediation Engineering
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Building Information Modeling Specialist in the Herndon, VA area. The role involves producing and maintaining Lifecycle sets for ACS and MEP drawing sets for data centers, while supporting the Fleet Remediation Engineering team with updates and documentation.

Responsibilities
Update CAD drawings, BIM models, and provide Lifecycle document control
Facilitate updates of CAD drawings, BIM models, and provide Lifecycle documentation through vendors
Assist the data center AWS teams with access, content requests, and submittals for As-Built & Record Documentation
Integrate all project discipline content to Lifecycle sets updating and modifying existing models and drawing sets as required
Assist in development of automation using Lisp, Visual Basic, Dynamo, and other collaboration in a fast paced environment to scheduled targets
Manage the issuing and revisions of drawings & models, providing concurrent content through collaborative onsite validation
Work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical locations
Qualification
Required
US Citizen and obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance
Cumulative of 4 + years BIM/CAD experience in the area of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Building Design & services focused on building engineering and construction technology
2+ years Revit experience using Revit to design and coordinate large Mechanical/electrical projects
4+ years CAD experience in the area of MEP Building Design & services
2+ years experience taking drawings from conceptual design through construction documents
Preferred
Previous experience with Data Center Operations
2+ years Document Control Systems and Maintenance
2+ years Facilities Maintenance & Operations software experience
Experience with Navis, Procore, Bim360
Data Center Professional Accreditation
