Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
Produce well designed, testable, efficient quality code
Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
Prepare and produce releases of software components
Support continuous improvement and innovation
Produce quality documentation for the support teams
Troubleshoot / Diagnose issues and identify appropriate solutions
Qualification
Required
Tandem/ HP Nonstop / COBOL / TAL/ Shadowbase or GoldenGate
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience required
7+ years of experience designing, developing and implementing software applications and hands on experience with large scale applications at large institutions with technologies Tandem/ HP Nonstop / COBOL / TAL
Experience with data replication using Shadowbase or GoldenGate
Preferred
Experience with REST APIs
Strong experience on event-based architecture leading strategy, governance and execution of event-based architecture at large institutions
Financial services industry experience
Experience with analytics and performance monitoring
Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
Experience in the day-to-day practicalities of Agile software Product Development Lifecycles such as Scrum, SAFe, DAD, Lean Agile, Kanban, etc
