Start in 2026 SummerThe Children's Law Center (CLC) is a non-profit legal services organization that represents children in various legal proceedings. They are seeking enthusiastic legal interns for the summer of 2026 to assist in advocating for child clients while gaining hands-on experience in areas such as custody and domestic violence law.

Responsibilities
Observation of and participation in court proceedings
Witness interviews (children, parents, etc.)
Digesting case records (school, medical, forensic reports, transcripts)
Legal research
Legal writing
Qualification
Required
Enthusiastic and hardworking legal interns
Ability to learn the areas of law practiced by CLC, including custody, visitation, domestic violence, abuse and neglect law
Willingness to gain hands-on experience and assist CLC staff in advocating for child clients
Ability to observe and participate in court proceedings
Ability to conduct witness interviews (children, parents, etc.)
Ability to digest case records (school, medical, forensic reports, transcripts)
Ability to perform legal research
Ability to engage in legal writing
Availability for a full-time (9am - 5pm) hybrid model for 8-10 weeks
