Solutions³ LLC is supporting their U.S. Government customer with incident response to cyber-attacks. They are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer (Lab Manager III) to design, implement, and test cloud-based infrastructure and services, particularly focusing on Red Hat-based systems in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and test scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Red Hat technologies

Implement and test IaaS/PaaS solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Automate provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Red Hat Satellite

Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with security standards and policies

Applying advanced analytical skills and technical resources at the tactical levels and implementing infrastructure solutions supporting command decision making and execution of mission requirements

Automate infrastructure tasks using Ansible, Terraform, or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools

Support the implementation of new technologies and equipment in the lab environment

Stay up-to-date with OpenShift and Kubernetes advancements, providing recommendations for improvements

Examine and identify efficiencies that can be made to existing procedures, with approval from the customer

Must be a US Citizen

Must have an active Secret clearance, TS/SCI is preferred

Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability prior to starting employment

6+ years of directly relevant experience as a Cloud Engineer, Linux Systems Engineer, or similar role

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.)

BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering or related degree; or HS Diploma and 7+ years lab management or systems administration experience
