Start in 2026 SummerMarmon Foodservice Technologies, part of the global industrial organization Marmon Holdings and backed by Berkshire Hathaway, is seeking a Manufacturing Operations/Supply-Chain Intern for Summer 2026. The intern will work with the Purchasing and Materials teams on various projects, including ERP optimization and vendor management, culminating in a capstone project presentation to business leadership.

Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Intern will work with the Purchasing and Materials teams on a variety of specific projects and areas as noted below
This position will report directly to the Director of Operations but will have exposure to the wider business teams
Interns will complete a capstone type project over the summer culminating in a presentation to business leadership
Key Projects:
• ERP optimization
• Participate in any 5S activities
• Key focuses on vendors and outsourcing
Qualification
Required
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related field
Rising junior or senior
Strong interest in applying lean organizational knowledge to practical problems
Ability to comply with deadlines
Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent organizational skills
Interest in technology and process improvement
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
No previous experience required
