MIT Lincoln Laboratory is a research and development center that supports the US Government's critical communications needs. The Strategic and Long-Range Communications Group is seeking summer research interns to engage in modeling, simulation, and analysis of RF communications systems, contributing to real-world national security challenges.

Responsibilities
Engage in modeling & simulation, analysis and/or implementation of RF communications systems
Specific project work may include system analysis, signal processing modelling and analysis; GPP, GPU, or FPGA development; system test and measurement in a benchtop environment; or system characterization in fielded environments
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
Experience or coursework in wireless communications systems, information theory, analog circuit design, embedded software design, and/or digital signal processing
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance
U.S. citizenship is required
Benefits
Housing support is available for eligible non-local interns, including access to discounted university housing in Boston and a one-time taxable relocation payment.
Complimentary daily shuttle transportation is provided from Boston-based housing to and from the Lab.
