Responsibilities

Check guests in for their reservation on proprietary equipment

Assist guests with creating a reservation

Field guests inquiries

Direct and expedite guest into the queue line

Assist with crowd control while maintaining a cheerful disposition

Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality

Always maintain a cheerful, upbeat demeanor while on stage in front of guests

Always be in Usher costume (provided by Macy’s)

Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities

Required

Crowd control experience with both adults and children required

Customer service experience required

Knowledge of a second language helpful

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to effectively communicate with and direct children

Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment

Present a professional image consistent with Macy's brand values

Prolonged standing and walking required

Candidates with a High School diploma or equivalent are encouraged to apply

This position requires heavy lifting, constant moving, remaining in a stationary position, and reaching with arms and hands

Involves remaining in a stationary position for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 30 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders

May involve reaching above eye level

Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment

Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs
