Responsibilities
Leading and managing business analysis workstreams or deliverables with defined outcomes
Identifying, documenting, and improving business processes, workflows, issues, metrics, and value drivers
Conducting interviews and workshops to gather and refine business requirements
Performing in-depth analysis and documentation of current ("as-is") processes and capabilities
Supporting the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and validation
Developing and maintaining other key project documentation
Supporting go-live activities including data conversion, training, help desk readiness, and site logistics
Assisting with change management, stakeholder communications, and adoption planning
Contributing to PMO support functions such as: Project time tracking, Status and work plan updates, Service metric reporting, General administrative project tasks
Qualification
Required
7+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst
Proven experience in managing end-to-end business analysis for large-scale IT projects
Strong understanding of business process modeling, documentation, and analysis techniques
Experience in test planning and test execution management
Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and project/task tracking systems
Experience supporting change management and go-live planning
Must reside in the United States
Must use personal computer to connect to NCDOT systems via Citrix and Cisco AnyConnect VPN
Must be authorized to work in the U.S
Preferred
Experience with State Government or Public Sector IT projects
Prior experience with transportation or crash reporting systems is a plus
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid SDLC methodologies
IIBA CBAP or PMP-PBA
