They are seeking an Electrical Engineer or Designer to lead project interviews, manage contracts, and provide mentorship while collaborating with a team of professionals to deliver innovative design solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead project interviews for specific projects and possess a skill set to prepare fee proposals and negotiate contracts

Assist in business development, identifying and developing market opportunities and participating in project interviews for firm wide projects

Act as Engineer-in-responsible-charge, including making technical decisions in the respective field, reviewing, stamping and signing Construction Documents

Schedule project and related workloads and represent Cushing Terrell in project meetings and assist in strategy meetings

Check drawings and prepare feedback to project team

Direct activities of workers and consultants engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents

Manage financial aspects of contracts (billing, fee payment, rental equipment, income/expenses, etc.) to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain a good relationship with client

Be responsible for executing supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws including interviewing and training, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining team members, addressing complaints and resolving Issues

Provide leadership, communications, training, mentorship, continuous assignments, and feedback to team members

Be a resource/advisor for continuing education topics/needs

Take an active role in professional development
