Responsibilities

Utilizes effective communication to ensure customer identification, education, safety and satisfaction

Organized, timely, and accurate completion of procedures relative to department standards

Accurate, complete, legible documentation of all patient information

Communication and documentation of all variations from protocol

Accurate administration of contrast material (oral, I.V. or port) and successful venipuncture and port access via system IV Therapy policy

Acts with patients/families of all age groups: Neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatrics

Communication and documentation of equipment variations

Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the department and health system

Qualification

Radiologic TechnologyRegistered Radiologic TechnologistBasic Life SupportComputed TomographyCommunication skillsTime management

Required

Graduate of an Accredited Program

Major/Area of Concentration: Radiologic Technology

RRT - Registered Radiologic Technologist with Current Ohio License

ARRT - Registered Radiologic Technologist with Current Ohio License

BLS - Basic Life Support (must obtain within first 30 days of employment)

New graduates: Must have passed ARRT registry exam to be Ohio Department of Health license eligible before start date

Must obtain Ohio license within first 14 days of employment

Required: Radiology Tech

Preferred

Registered CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist by the American
