They are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Structural Designer – Residential Projects to design functional residential spaces, collaborating with clients and stakeholders to bring projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

Create structural designs and construction drawings for residential buildings using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software

Design foundations, framing systems, load-bearing walls, and roof structures

Perform structural calculations to ensure safety, stability, and code compliance

Collaborate with architects and contractors to integrate structural elements into residential designs

Review and revise drawings based on client feedback and field conditions

Ensure all designs meet local zoning laws, building codes, and permit requirements

Coordinate with city officials and inspectors during the permitting and construction phases

Provide technical support during construction, including site visits and inspections

Maintain organized records of design documents, revisions, and approvals
