Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the tax compliance process for multiple auto dealerships, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all filings
Provide tax advisory services, including planning and strategies for minimizing tax liabilities for clients in the automotive industry
Review and analyze financial statements and tax returns for pass-through entities to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Stay updated on tax laws and regulations affecting the automotive dealership sector to advise clients on best practices
Collaborate with dealership management to identify tax-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiencies related to tax matters
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, EA, or JD preferred
A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, preferably with exposure to auto dealerships or significant pass-through experience
Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations, particularly as they pertain to dealerships and pass-through entities
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients and stakeholders
Preferred
CPA, EA, or JD preferred
