Responsibilities
Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various applications, including mobile (iOS and Android) and web platforms
Perform automated testing using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit to ensure efficient testing processes
Conduct root cause analysis to identify defects and work with development teams to resolve issues effectively
Collaborate in an Agile environment to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
Implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices using tools like Jenkins and Git
Participate in system testing, performance testing, load testing, and A/B testing to validate application functionality and performance
Maintain documentation related to test cases, defects, and test results using tools such as Jira or HP ALM
Provide technical support for QA processes and assist in release management activities
Utilize data analysis skills to interpret test results and provide actionable insights for product improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Proven experience in software quality assurance with a focus on mobile applications and web services
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation scripting
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server for backend testing
Experience with version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and service-oriented architecture (SOA)
Ability to perform debugging and troubleshooting of software applications across various operating systems (Windows/Linux)
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in identifying issues during the testing process
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
