EOS IT Solutions is a family-run global AV and IT technology company that focuses on providing collaboration and business support services. They are seeking an Audio Visual Sales Support Engineer who will serve as a technical consultant to the sales team, generating project scopes and providing support for audio-visual projects, including training and technical reviews.

Responsibilities

Technically support Project Managers and Implementation Teams, including assistance with hands on and remote commissioning where required

Produce and or assist with technical training for internal and external end-users

Amend and adapt Audio Visual system design including CAD schematics and project requirements

Keep current with the technical aspects of the systems being installed through manufacturer training

Creation of system Scope Of Work and Bill of Materials for quotes to clients, this will include allocation of professional service hours

Review and approval of technical documents (Schematics, rack drawings, layout drawings and detailed technical info for IP systems) for handover to Project Management for deployment

Review and technical lead on project bids for client base

Provide status and feedback of the technical aspects of the projects assigned to the Project Manager, Engineering Department, and the Account Manager in the form of verbal and documented post-mortems to modify and improve internal and external processes and designs

Required

5+ years Design experience working with the AV Industry

Degree level qualified in a formal technical discipline or 8+ years professional AV industry experience in implementation and / or system support

Knowledge of design implementation, Installation or Service Experience of key technologies such as Control (Crestron, AMX, Extron), Audio (BIAMP, QSC, POLYCOM), Video (Cisco, Polycom, QSC, Crestron, Light ware, Teams, Zoom), A VoIP Design and Deployment

CTS certification or higher

Excellent communication skills, and be confident when dealing with demanding clients, building contractors, architects, and other technical members of the project team

Knowledge of the following is expected for success in the role: Audio systems design including conferencing audio, digital sound systems, public address, event spaces

Video systems, large format displays, projection, video wall image processing

Control systems touchscreen controls, automation, and smart building technology

Video conference systems, integration techniques and deployment

Audio visual system infrastructure design and planning

Flexibility is required to accommodate working across time zones as part of a global team, including international travel upon notice if necessary
