Shulman Fleming & Partners is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their trading technology team. This role focuses on delivering high-performance solutions for front-to-back trading operations, requiring deep expertise in Java and familiarity with trading workflows in equities and derivatives.

Responsibilities

Strong core Java development expertise with a proven hands-on approach

Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js

Experience with Python is a plus

Good understanding of equities and equity derivatives products

Familiarity with trade flow processes and FIX protocol

Experience with Quod OMS is a bonus

Knowledge of Murex is a bonus

Exposure to quantitative finance, especially in volatility, is a plus

Strong academic background and/or substantial experience in the financial services industry

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with business users such as traders and sales teams

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Highly organized, self-driven, and eager to learn and grow professionally
