Develop fire protection layouts, specifications, and construction documents
Perform hazard analyses and code compliance reviews

Stay current with NFPA, IBC, and local codes
Qualification
Required
5–10+ years in fire protection consulting
Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering (or related field)
Experience with fire alarm, suppression, and sprinkler systems
Strong communication skills and cross-discipline coordination ability
Preferred
PE license preferred (required for senior-level roles)
NCEES profile a plus for multi-state collaboration
