Broward College is seeking passionate educators for the position of Adjunct Instructor in Biology with a focus on Anatomy and Physiology. Responsibilities
Facilitate the needs of 21st century learners
Demonstrate mastery of their specific discipline
Show a deep commitment to the college mission of fostering student success, achievement and persistence
Utilize technology competencies and teaching/counseling skills to facilitate 21st century literacies
Use resources that prepare students for productive lives
Maintain active professional development activities and service to the Department and College
Participate in committee work
Hold office hours and may require evening and/or weekend hours
Qualification
Required
A Master's Degree in Biology or a Biological Science Subfield
Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Biology or a Biological Science Subfield
The successful candidate must have a high level of computer literacy and a commitment to teaching
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain active professional development activities and service to the Department and College
Committee work is expected
All schedules require office hours and some may require evening and/or weekend hours
