Cattle Feedyard Account Manager

Responsibilities
Consultative Selling: Act as a trusted advisor by deeply understanding client challenges and providing tailored solutions
Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key clients, serving as their central point of contact
Internal Collaboration: Partner with colleagues across sales, procurement, risk management, and feed merchandising to deliver seamless client support
Customer Advocacy: Champion client needs internally, ensuring their feedback is heard and acted on
Revenue Growth: Identify and execute opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts
Strategic Account Planning: Develop and implement strategic account plans that align company offerings with client business goals
Qualification
Required
5 to 10+ years of professional experience, ideally in agriculture, feedyards, cattle procurement, risk management, or related industries
Ability and desire to spend 75% or more of time in assigned territory working with prospects
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in agriculture business or related field preferred
Hands-on experience working in or alongside a feedyard operation is highly preferred
