Lowe Engineers is a full-service civil engineering, surveying, and mapping consultant dedicated to delivering high-quality services to public and private sector clients. They are seeking a Stormwater Design Project Manager / Designer to manage stormwater design projects, support business development, and ensure effective design and analysis of storm drainage systems and control measures.

Responsibilities

Manage various stormwater design projects related to water resources, drainage, stormwater management design for various clients including cities, counties, GDOT and private
Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, bids, RFPs and utilizing current projects/customers
Design and analysis of storm drainage systems
Design and analysis of Stormwater Control Measures
Design of Sediment and Erosion Control Best Management Practices
Preparation of environmental permits and drawings

Required

Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited civil/environmental engineering program (or related program)
7 to 20 years of water resources design experience
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within six months
Working knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulics principals
Proficiency communicating technical information with staff and clients
Able to work closely with other design disciplines to determine most practical solutions
Experience with common CAD and water resources modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM
Experience with public stormwater and storm drainage projects

Preferred

Ten (10) + years of water resources design experience
Experience completing stormwater/storm drainage projects for cities, counties and states
Experience managing engineering design and production
Experience with working on multiple projects at the same time
Experience with proposal development
Experience with permitting (Local LDP, State, USACE, Floodplain)
Experience with assessing floodplain impacts associated with infrastructure improvement and / or infrastructure improvements
