They are hiring an experienced Software Engineer to support the government's Processing and Analytic Capabilities Office initiatives related to High Performance Computing (HPC) programs, which include architecture design, prototyping, and vendor collaboration.

Responsibilities

Support the government's Processing and Analytic Capabilities Office initiatives related to their High Performance Computing (HPC) program

Support work across teams to write or enable queries for specialized metrics collection products

Ensure that system performance is maintained

Work independently, as well as with a team, to ensure that all components are functioning properly

Stay abreast of latest industry trends in both open source and commercial metrics and monitoring solutions

Support determination of if-and-when to incorporate them into an IaC solution

Be willing to and able to learn new tools and protocols

Required

Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of software engineering experience, OR High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of software engineering experience

Software architecture and design planning

DevOps or sustainment/life-cycle management of system-operational software or services

Telemetry data

Implementing and documenting dataflow or system-telemetry pipeline

Data movement and volume estimations

Linux, Linux tools, Bash scripting

Programming in Python

Familiar with and able to perform full software-development lifecycle support with version-control tools (Git, GitLab)
