Responsibilities

Develop advanced sensing algorithms from multichannel biosensor data
Analyze human study data, prototype algorithms, and assess algorithm performance requirements
Work cross-functionally with engineering teams, particularly with SW engineering, to refine requirements and develop specifications
Verify on-device implementation and collect data in the lab to test algorithm prototypes in real time
Analyze larger datasets offline

Qualification

Required

BS in Electrical Engineering, Applied Math or Physics, or related field
Background in image/signal processing, estimation/inference, or machine learning
Engineering math background (e.g. applied linear algebra, probability)
Programming skills in high level languages like Python/Matlab

Preferred

10+ years of relevant industry experience
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Math or Physics, or related field
Multi-disciplinary understanding of statistical analysis and optical physics principles
Skilled in training/validation for algorithm features using sensor data, and establishing quantitative algorithm performance benchmarks
Knowledge of algorithm optimization for HW constraints (compute, memory, power)
Familiarity with analyzing large datasets and developing data processing pipelines
Experience with measuring, interpreting and debugging human physiological signals
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
