They are seeking an Operations Intern who will handle recycling requests, issue purchase orders, track recycling activity, and assist with material acquisition and reporting.

Responsibilities

Handle recycling requests from technicians and coordinate drop-off or pick-up with vendors and warehouse
Issue purchase orders (POs) to vendors for recycling services
Track recycling activity using Excel spreadsheets and monitor compliance by comparing lamps recycled to lamps purchased
Assist with acquisition of materials and equipment as needed
Create purchase orders and process invoices accurately and timely
Compose correspondence and prepare reports as required
Advise Procurement Managers of potential issues, work interferences, and scheduling challenges; assist in problem resolution
Monitor deadlines on incoming requests and prioritize tasks proactively
Prepare special reports as requested by supervisors
Perform packaging, order processing, and general warehouse duties
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Rising Junior or Senior majoring in Management, Logistics, or a related business degree
Associate's Degree or a minimum of 2 years of prior administrative experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PDF)
Strong ability to prioritize and organize tasks to meet deadlines efficiently and professionally
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism and clarity
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Keen attention to detail with strong analytical skills for creating, editing, and analyzing documents and spreadsheets
