Responsibilities
To assist in translating documents for Children's Hospital of Wisconsin
May also provide medical setting interpretation or sight translation
Qualification
Required
Bilingual who speaks, reads and writes proficiently in both native and target languages (English/ Spanish)
Minimum two years medical translation experience required
Bachelor's degree, or higher, in translation, foreign language or related field required
Ability to use MS Word, Excel and learn Fluency translation software
Solid knowledge of medical terminology
Good customer service skills
Strong communication skills including listening skills
Effective organizational skills with attention to detail including ability to prioritize and assess needs
Preferred
National American Translators Association (ATA) certification preferred within 2 years of hire
