The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that every guest room is clean and meets quality standards, while also performing regular housekeeping duties and contributing to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities
Ensure each guestroom is cleaned to company and brand standards
Cover department responsibilities when Executive Housekeeper is not available
Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash, etc
Work with Executive Housekeeper to accomplish the goals of the department and the company
Contribute to Virtelle’s culture by continually promoting a collaborative, proactive, and interactive working environment
Know all relevant safety, emergency, and accident procedures
Ensure uniform and appearance are clean and professional
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your workspace
Respond to guests’ and fellow team members’ needs promptly and ensure professional, courteous service and communication
Respond appropriately with tact and professionalism in all situations
Qualification
Required
Experience as a room attendant in a similar-sized or larger property
Problem-solving skills
Able to thrive individually and as part of a team
Basic math skills
Well-organized and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to remain calm and exercise good judgement under pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to coach and counsel others
Preferred
Moderate understanding of English and Spanish
