Facilitate the needs of 21st century learners
Demonstrate mastery of their specific discipline

Utilize technology competencies as well as teaching/counseling skills and strategies that facilitate 21st century literacies
Use resources that prepare students for productive lives
Provide customized training and instruction for future manufacturing employees
Teach subject areas such as Blueprint Reading, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), Inspection and Measurement, Metrology and Metallurgy for the Machine Trades, Manual Machining Experience, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machine Operation and Programming, and Lean Manufacturing

Candidates should demonstrate (1) a mastery of their specific discipline; (2) a deep commitment to the college mission of fostering student success, achievement and persistence; (3) technology competencies as well as teaching/counseling skills and strategies that facilitate 21st century literacies; (4) the use of resources that prepare students for productive lives
Knowledge and experience in manual and Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Milling & Tooling Machining and instructing adult learners
Minimum Education: Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering Technology, Computer-Integrated Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering, Engineering Technology: Drafting, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related subfield OR Master's Degree and 18 graduate credit hours in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering Technology, Computer-Integrated Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering, Engineering Technology: Drafting, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related subfield OR Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering Technology, Computer-Integrated Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Engineering Technology: Drafting, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related subfield AND appropriate industry certification or licensure AND 3 years' work experience in Engineering Field
The successful candidate must have a high level of computer literacy and a commitment to teaching
The successful candidate must be willing and able to teach in both the traditional face-to-face and blended (hybrid) format
All schedules require office hours, and some may require evening and/or weekend hours
Preferred
Ph.D. preferred
Prior college teaching experience is preferred
Experience With The Following Preferred: Haas and/or Fanuc Controllers, National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS) Credentials, Online Tooling U resources, Neurodivergent populations
