Insight Health Systems is seeking an Internal/Family Medicine Physician to provide medical direction and primary health care services for patients and families. The role involves clinical support, patient care, policy development, and ensuring compliance with medical regulations.

Responsibilities

Provides clinical support for APP as required
Provides general medical direction for the clinic concerning its patient care activities
Provides patient care
Participate in the development, execution and annual review of written policies/procedures governing the services the clinics provides
Participate in review of patients’ health records
Participates in QI programs
Attends required department and committee meetings
Ensuring the medical staff and clinic comply with the federal/state rules, regulations and codes
Keeping medical knowledge, experience and licenses up to date

Qualification

Licensed to practice medicineBoard certified/eligibleCPR/ACLSElectronic record skillsEnglish proficiencyCommunication skillsInterpersonal skillsPresentation skills

Required

Must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Michigan
Must be Board certified or Board eligible
Must be able to read, speak and write English
Strong Communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Good computer and electronic record skills
Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Michigan
CPR/ACLS certification
Must be able to move about the practice/department and between workstations; and prolonged periods of standing
