Responsibilities

Conduct fundamental, primary research on individual companies

Analyze the impact of competitive, economic and industry trends on specific investments

Demonstrate a proven grasp of Aligned Investor’s investment philosophy by consistently incorporating it into the equity research process

Provide leadership to more junior members of the team (if tenured in career)

Required

5+ years equity investment experience

MBA with finance emphasis, Chartered Financial Analyst designation, or equivalent work experience

Experienced at deep fundamental research on individual companies

Preferred

Must be a self-starter and able to lead the equity research process

Demonstrate an understanding of investments and an alignment in investment philosophy

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to interact with company management teams and industry experts

Highly proficient at building and maintaining company models in Excel

Willingness to travel to visit companies as well as attend conferences
