Curtiss-Wright Corporation is a leading supplier of mission-critical pumps for the U.S. Navy. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing customer programs to ensure timely delivery of pumps, coordinating across various departments and managing project schedules and financial performance.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of customer programs

Prepares periodic reviews for customers on the status of programs/projects

Oversees management of project schedules, open issues, and financial performance to budgeted plans and performance to the contract

Coordinates resolution of issues and expected to make recommendation to senior management

Manages direct reports (project managers and planners)

Provides backup department management of the Program Management Office for the Sr. Manager/Director of the Program Management Office

Required

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain security clearances

Bachelor's Degree in or equivalent

Minimum of 5 years of production, engineering, project, or program management experience or equivalent

Knowledge or experience with Government contracting projects

Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, and logistics

Having worked in project teams

Strategic sourcing experience/skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and develop effective working relationships

Self-starter, highly motivated, action-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and results-driven

Preferred

Experience with ERP systems and other computer software (e.g., Oracle and Microsoft Office software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project)

Prior experience working in the Defense Industry

Lean and/or Six-Sigma experience and knowledge
