Help Desk Technical Support Specialist (South Korea)
GC Associates USA (GCA) is currently seeking a Help Desk Technical Support Specialist to provide support to the US Army Reserve 9th Mission Support Command (MSC) in Hawaii. The role involves managing C4IM missions and providing direct support for network functions, ensuring seamless operations and mission command sustainment for USAR units in the Pacific.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Providing IT support service troubleshooting both hardware and software issues in mixed environments that include workstations & laptop (SIPR, NIPR, CENTRIX, STAMIS, etc.)
Supporting services for mobile devices
Assisting with A/V equipment
Managing Active Directory
Utilizing OS delivery methods (Altiris Deployment Solution, SCCM, etc.)
Implementing a Tiered Help Desk approach
Using work ticket tracking solutions (Altiris Help Desk, Remedy)
Providing networking support
Supporting VTC operations
Qualification
Required
2-4 years of experience providing IT support service troubleshooting both hardware and software issues in mixed environments that include Workstations & laptop (SIPR, NIPR, CENTRIX, STAMIS, etc.)
Services mobile devices
A/V equipment
Extensive working knowledge of Active Directory
OS delivery methods (Altiris Deployment Solution, SCCM, etc.)
Tiered Help Desk approach
Work ticket tracking solutions (Altiris Help Desk, Remedy)
Networking support
VTC support
IAT Level II (per DoD 8570.1)
Preferred
Clearance Required: Secret or Top Secret (preferred)
